whats with the Avid Polygon rotor?

ummmm, what do you want to know? It is a rotor, it does what brake rotors do...

Actually they are Avid "Roundagon" rotors. That's whe they call em anyway. They are Avids low end rotor, they're serviceable and work fine. But are less than stellar when it comes to heat disapation when compared to other Avid rotors like the G2 and G3 clean sweeps. That and they're a bit heavier as well. Not much else to say about them. As Uncle noted, they're brake rotors, they do what brake rotors do.

but it's not a roundagon... and i had some major problems up front with a clean sweep g2,
lbs swapped it out for this and all is well
i just wanna know production years, what brake it came with, etc.

i haven't been able to find much on it

Roundagons are not the same as Polygons. Polygons came with 2005(?) Avid Juicy brakes.

Polygons came in around the same weight as the original Cleansweep rotors.

i dunno but come to think of it i did get that turkey noise a few times with the clean sweep and my BB5s
