Vee brake caliper to mechanical disk conversion

Quick question. Im currently running shimano xtr vee brakes. I'm looking to change out my fork with something of nicer quality and most new forks do mot have the option for me to change over my calipers. Can i use my xtr lever with any mechanical disk caliper? And what disk kit is the.best? I'm looking.to get the rockshox 44 ti if that helps.

Yup. Pick your brake, but it is hard to beat the Avid BB7. You will also need a new cable and housing.

    Isn't the 44ti a Marzocchi?
