Upgrading Novela to M596 with original rotors

I just traded my Diamondback Sorrento for a Response XE. The Novela brakes on the Response are astonishingly bad. I want to upgrade them to something better. First I was thinking about the BB7, but for only a few bucks more it looks like I can go to Shimano M596 hydros.

Can I just buy the lever/caliper kit and toss it on with the original rotors? Here's the eBay set I was looking at:

Any concerns that it's coming from China? Is there something else I should be considering?

Yes, you can use your current rotors there is no need to buy new ones except if you want bigger. Deore 596 are good brakes, I personally use them and above all I love how small the lever is and that I can use them with only one finger. You won't be sorry if you're coming from Novelas.
