    upgrading, I think

I am looking to upgrade my Juicy 3's on a Large Heckler and found a full set of Formula K18's for $100. My question- is this an upgrade worth spending money on? I looked at Formula's website and it looks like K18's are their base brakeset. Am I getting a brake similar to the Juicy's? Is it worth buying or should I wait until something better comes along? I ride fast singletrack with rocky, steep, descents. Mostly XC/AM. Thanks for the input!

Im no Formula expert but when going from one brands economy component to another brands economy your pretty much at a wash not a real upgrade. Check out Spadout they find the best deals on components for you.

oh, no the formula k-18 are far superior to the J3. They are liek the J5 and J7 but on a much better scale the 18 are like the 27 except for the adjusment. The formula is much much better.
