    Upgrading to Disc

Ok, so i have a sugar 3+ and am looking to upgrade to disc brakes but need a lot of help deciding what to get. I have heard hydros are the best but mechanical seem to be good too. I also need to get a new wheelset any ideas on those as well. Any of your suggestions would be awsome I want to spend no more than like 400, 500 at the most.

Contact Mike Garcia at Odds and Endos for wheels. Custom handbuilts will be much better than any factory built wheels and Mike can set you up something good in your price range.

For brakes, the Avid Mechanicals are much better than v-brakes and dead simple to setup. Nice hydraulics like the new Magura Louise don't cost much more but are much ligher and much smoother with better modulation and control. They are more difficult to setup though so if you don't have a good shop that can set you up right, they might not be the best option.
