    TRP CX-9's How to adjust?

I had these brakes installed on my Cannondale since the stock brakes were horrible.

The TRP's are great but squeal like crazy so the advice was to install Kool Stop pads.

I did so and the pads need to be set closer to the rims and unlike a mtn bike there is no barrel adjuster.

Do I pull them closer by adjusting the cable with the lock bolt on the brake arm?

Seems like there should be a better way. - Thanks -

TRP's stock setup doesn't include a built-in barrel adjuster, but we were able to retrofit one to the ends of our set's noodles by swapping out the standard housing receiver for an alloy 4mm ferrule then plugging in a Jagwire inline adjuster easy as pie.

My cables do have a device that looks exactly like an in line adjuster however either direction I turn them has no reaction to the length of the brake cable?

I installed the new Kool Stop pads on my brakes and it seems almost impossible to correctly adjust the rim clearance with the cable and lock bolt.

I would think a barrel adjuster should be standard procedure when having these brakes with Drop Down Handlebars???
