    Trek Disc-O adapter

Does anyone know where I can purchase the Trek Disc-O adapter? I found a few people selling them on eBay but the price is pretty outrageous ($40 after shipping). I believe the part number is: #210648

I would suggest going to your local trek dealer and asking one of the mechanics if there is one floating around in the shop. That's how I got mine.

Is this Trek Disco adapter the one that runs on the chain stay in front of the drop out?
If so they were designed to run the Hayes 22mm which is hard to find.

No, the adapter is for the rear drop-out that was Trek's design after the 22mm Hayes mounts. They did this for a few years before just making a permanent disc mount on the seat stay.

Trek started using this adapter again on the 3 Series bikes with disc brakes.
The adapter should be available from a Trek dealer for a lot less then what the ebay sellers are asking for them.
