    Topping up Juicy 5's

After recently changing pads in my juicy 5's and losing most of the fluid doing it , I need to top the fluid up.

Problem is i dont have the proper bleed kit as of yet and only the fluid. Is there anyway of topping the system up without the use of the syringes? and then do a proper job once i gt the proper kit.

Its just im going out riding tomorrow and with no rear brake looks like ill have to put it off.

ive ordered the kit but cant see it getting here until next week.

    Thanks

Did you have a leak or did you open the system when changing the pads? The system doesn't have to be opened to push the calipers back for the new pads. Just use a screw driver and gently pry them apart with the old pads still in place and then install the new ones. Just for future reference.

Now, you definitely need a bleed.

No ,one of the pistons was stuck so i pressed the lever which pushed the piston all the way out and the fluid went everywhere.

Bit of a stupid mistake but didn't want to damage the piston

You need the bleed kit to properly fill the brake system.

Get the lbs to do it, or buy the bleed kit. Your life could depend on it.
