    suggest 180mm rotor for front

Gonna switch to a 180mm rotor upfront on my Hardrock 29er. Brakes are BB5's with stock 160mm rotors and stock avid pads at this point (feel free to suggests upgraded pads too, LOL).

Just ordered a North Shore Billet 180mm caliper adaptor and now need to get a new rotor (current are avid clean sweeps).

Any suggests for a better/upgraded rotor over the Clean Sweeps? Maybe a floating disc?

Dont really have a budget limit (but not buying a 200 dollar rotor either, lol).

I ride 90% single tracks and about 10% around the sub with my kids, lol. Trails are a mix of hard/soft/sand/mud/standing water sometimes etc.

    Thanks in advance,
    J-

I ended up getting one of the new 2012 180mm Avid HSX two piece rotor. Very nice, good "power" and pretty quiet.
