    Strongest rotor?

I've often found that the wavy rotors that come with Avid mechanicals to be very flimsy and sometimes difficult to keep true. Shimano XT rotors, even the 203mm size, seem to keep their shape pretty well. I haven't had much experience with other rotors, at least for extended periods.

So who, in your opinion, makes the strongest rotors that stay true the best?

BTW, I did try a search to see if any other posts had been made along these lines, but I wasn't having much luck.

I've been doing some old-thread reading on this just today in fact - lots of folks say Galfer is the way to go. For a one piece rotor, it holds true very well. I just ordered a couple of sets for my bikes, so I guess I am now a Galfer-flavored Kool-Aid drinker too!

    Cheers, Chris

If you can't find Galfers, check out Maguras. They're licensed by Galfer, for what it's worth, and I've found them to be well made and tough. They seem a little thicker than Hayes rotors.
