    Stiff Hydraulic Disk Brake

So as you probably know, pulling a hydraulic disk brakes lever is extremely easy and it will give you a fast response. However my front lever is extremely stiff. Like as if it was already pulled half way. I tried taking out some fluid but it didn't work.

NOTE: The wheel still turns flawlessly, no rubbing...

Yes, but I can't slowly pull the lever and come to a slow stop, instead when I pull the brake lever I come to an abrupt stop.

When is the last time you bled the brakes? Not just letting out fluid, but cycling new fluid into the system.

Never, so you mean replacing the fluid?

    What brakes?

It could potentially be that the brake pads are too close to the rotor for that particular brake (even if it's not rubbing). Sometimes that can happen if the lever is accidentally squeezed when the rotor is out of the caliper (i.e. wheel removed). I suggest taking the pads out and pushing the pistons back all the way with a plastic tyre lever or similar. Put the pads in and the wheel back and continually pump the lever to put the pads in the "correct" place.

This is easier to do than bleeding, so it's worth a shot to try first.
