sticky brakes? Avid Juicy Sevens. help please!

hey I have Avid Juicy Sevens on my BigHit and the piston seems to not go back all the way in when I release the lever. Is this normal? These are my first hydros so I don't know much about them yet. The brakes rub too because the piston doesn't go back all the way. I read somewhere that it's normal for the hydro brakes to rub but is it normal for the piston to not go back all the way? The calipers are centered I checked and the piston releases just doesn't go all the way back into the housing. Is this normal? If not what should I do?
