    Softening '04 XT Disc Brakes

I have the integrated shifting/braking XT levers and am wondering if there's a way to "soften" the brakes.

The XTR has adjustable reach, and am wondering if something like this is possible with the XT model. Possibly by having the calipers engage later when pulling the lever.

check your with your LBS for lever reach adjustment srew location (I seem to remember the srew for lever reach adjustment on XT was located in a different place than XTR). My XTR uses a 2mm allen, and it's located behind the lever on the shift body.
