So freakin psyched!!!! Hope's Arrived!! *now with pics*

So, my junk elixir CR's finally took a dump when I was bleeding them this weekend. They have really been giving me issues the last two months or so. The rear brake would always get air in the lines and they had the ever-so-prevalent turkey warble. Being from Spring, TX I have known about the Hope warehouse and the product they offer, so I hit up PinkBike and mr mtb4life05 and got a smokin deal on some Hope stealth x2 rear and m4 front.

Can't wait for these things to arrive so I can slap them on and shred the crap out of the local trails. I was going to buy either these or some new XT's but a few things about the Hope's won me over. First, the ease of bleeding w/o having to buy and use a bleed kit. Second, I have hope hubs, hope seat clamp and hope pedals... so hope brakes just fit. Third, the adjustability and Hope offering every little piece as replacement. I'll update this with some pics when i get them installed. Thanks for reading my blabbering.

I picked up that exact same set up about 3 weeks ago. I do not regret the purchase one bit. I almost got the Shimanos but at the last second I had a few come through the shop with some odd failures and I changed my mind. Very happy with the Hopes. Outstanding power and out of this world feel and modulation. And they're quiet, these replaced some Avid X0 xc brakes that were horrible.

    Happy trails...

Nice, did you have to shorten your hoses? I would also move the techs to the inside of the shifters since the levers are longer than most brakes and your cock pit will be more comfortable.

Didnt have to shoeten the cables. They were made to the length I specified. I will try a few different positions to find my sweet spot, thanks for the hint. If only they had a matchmaker with the xo like they do with xtr...

I'm using an Avid matchmaker with my Hope V2's on my DH bike as they let you angle the shifter. The Hope mm gives it a fixed position.
