    **DELETED** SNAP goes the IS mount..

    DELETED: My stupidity..I had the caliper on the wrong side of the fork mount.... Live and learn I guess.

    good thing I was going to upgrade the fork anyways.

    you should have left the caliper exactly as it was when it the mount broke. The pictures of the broken tab without the rest of it don't tell me anything. Was there any mechanical interference as you tightened? Usually you can pretty well snug up the bolts by hand before torquing. Were you in the process of torqueing the bolts?
