    small hands,longish lever reach

    I have a new bike with hayes stoker discs and I cant get the feel i like.I can shorten the reach but the it crimps my hand under the lever upon hard braking.I like it when i can easily reach the lever and have instant breaking with just small squeezin.My old bike had xt s and i am thinking of swithing over to them.Any suggestions

    Move the brake levers in on the handlebars. You should only need one finger to brake, so move the levers in so that your index finger lines up with the hook on the end of the lever blade.

    they might need a bleed. My stoker aces where like that until I got a good bleed, they worked okay with the reach adjuster out but lost it when I moved them in.
