SLX brakes not getting full sweep on rotors
Just installed my SLX brakes with new rotors and I'm not getting a full sweep

Can I remove these spacers to make up the difference?

Re: SLX brakes not getting full sweep on rotors
check your pads first. As long as they are making full contact you're sweet

You don't have any spacers to remove.

What spacers are you referring in pic 2? Between the caliper body and bolt head?
-
There's no spacers between the caliper and the post mounts so the caliper can't be moved downwards any further on the post mounts, removing the washers between the bolt head and the caliper won't make any difference to the wear pattern on the rotor.
As long as the pads aren't overhanging the outer edge of the rotor then there isn't a problem with that wear pattern on the rotor.

haha brain fart there for a second. I was referring to the washers but realized that they wouldn't work . I will double check the pad contact tomorrow. Thanks for all the replies.

If you take the pads out and have a look you'll see they are chamfered on the lower edge to make it easier to put a wheel/rotor back in. That's why you're not getting full contact across the whole rotor. This chamfer will gradually wear out as the pads wear and you'll get even contact across the whole rotor, so nothing to worry about.
