    SLX Brake Position Question

Building a new 29er HT and already have a old hayes for the rear brake.

Thinking about the SLX MT666 for the front, but I like my front brake on the right... Like my motorcycles.

I believe you can not flip the lever / master cylinder over on a SLX, correct?

Can I order a rear, and just shorten the line?

Thanks for the input... Excited for the new / first full bike build.

Yes...you'd have to buy a rear and shorten it.
OR...you can buy from chainreactioncycles in England....where bikes come with the front brake on the right.
    I run mine this way....

You could always order both brakes. Once you ride the SLX you're gonna hate the Hayes anyway.

+1 on that. You might as well get them both while you're at it, that way, you can just swap the hoses over and run them how you want.
I don't crash, I just have slightly uncontrolled dismounts!
