    slow rebounding brake lever

I just replaced my rear m785 caliper (defective, f&r both were) with an SLX caliper and bled as usual. With the brake block in the lever feels great but once the pads are in and mounted back on the bike the lever is very slow to rebound and once the servo wave kicks in the lever just "pops" out. Ive never experienced this before and it literally just started when i put the slx caliper on. The front lever feels great with the Zee caliper. Is there some compatibility issue with the 785 levers and slx calipers that i was unaware of.
