    should i buy el camino's

A buddy as a set of used camino's, he sell the complete set (front and rear) only 80$. I know that the brake need new brake pads and two pistons in the calipers need to be changed for about 45$ at the shop including complete disassemble/reassemble and bleeding.......

should i make the move to replace the old mecanical on my Singlespeed, i do mostly xc singletrack and urban riding with this bike

what should i expect from theses brakes compared to my old HFX9

    Peace on dirt

For XC only, it'll be okay as long as you're under 200.

They're better than the HFX9. Better modulation. Durability is still hit or miss. The master cylinder and resi are small. It doesn't have much fluid capacity. The fluid heats up quickly, which causes fade.

I would not recommend the brakes for aggressive riding.
