    Shortening Juicy 3 hose?

Yeah, I know they are not great, but I'm going to keep them until the pads wear out. However, the front hose came really long, and it rubs all over the place as it winds back and forth down to the caliper. Can this be easily cut, reconnected and bled, or are they factory set only?

You can shorten the hoses, but make sure to get new compression fittings and a bleed kit. If not, then the hose will leak and you will be pulling you hair out trying to bleed the brake.

If your really sneaky you can shorten the hose and reconnect without bleeding but you should be prepared to bleed just in case.

I shortened my Juicy 3's hoses and needed to rebleed the system.
