Are Shimano XT levers side specific?

I noticed that retailers sell the pre-bled XT brakes left/front and right/rear. I'm guessing the logo is only on one side so you can't use the right lever on the left side and vice versa. How easy would it be to swap it to run moto style (right lever/front brake)? What would I need to do?

Side specific. To run moto style you have to swap the hoses

Does that mean I have to bleed the brakes again?

If you're careful, no. What i've done is pump out the pistons more than normal, remove hoses, reattach hose, push pistons back into caliper. If all goes well, no need to bleed. But do prepare for it in case it don't work
