    shimano xt disc ??'s

I found a good deal on some xt disc brakes, problem is they only have the front brake. Is there a way to run one of the front brakes on the rear. Can I just buy a longer hose. Let me know if this is possible or if the brakes can only be run on the front. Thanks

You will need a smaller rotor...

I think this needs to be 140 mm, so it's probably not a cheap option.

Take a look if you can view a picture, the levers/reservoirs are not swappable for sure, and I think the calipers are different front and rear also. Pretty sure you can run 6" rotors at both ends, not sure about 8".

I think I've seen XT rears on ebay...

The levers are not flip flop like hayes, so theres another issue.
