Shimano M535 or Avid Juicy Three

    Hey guys,

I can pick up either for around the 100 ($160) just now. I've spoken to two people and they've each suggested differently. What do you guys thinks? Im leaning towards the Shimano, they don't look as nice but I hear performance wise might be better.

One problem is the Shimano leavers come the wrong way around for me, the front brake is the left lever. Is this easy enough to change?

I prefer the M535. I do not like the J3 at all.

Yes, it is fairly easy to swap the levers. You may need a new barb and olive though. Pump out the pistons. Pull the line out. Use new barb and olive. Tighten the compression nut. Reset the pistons. Top off the reservoir. You should not need to bleed.
