    Shimano M495 and avid discs

I'm looking at replacing the stock disc brakes that came on my fuel 80. The hubs are Shiman M495 with the centerlock disc mount. The brakes I'm looking at are either the Avid Juicy 7's or Elixir's.

Anyway, what do I need to get so that I can mount the new discs on the hubs? Also, do I need a specific tool adaptor to remove the centerlock disc that are already there.

Thanks and any and all help!

WOW!... Thanks for the wildly unhelpful reply. So, I'm guessing you don't about the compatibility of a trek fuel frame and the avid brakes.

At least you got your post count up by 1.

There is nothing special at all about a Trek frame.
If you have disc tabs, you can use disc brakes.

Your question: "Do I need an adapter to mount these brakes"
I would google "shimano centerlock" and look for "adapters"

Yes you need an adapter. It's called a centerlock adapter.
