    Shimano Ice Rotor's

Thinking about upgrading to some Shiamno XT ICE Rotor's RT86 version, got allready some RT75s fitted.

Just would like to know if anyone one has any experience with tthe ICE rotors and what there thoughts about them are.

I have a rear 160 and a 180 in the mail. The quality is pretty good on these rotors. Very soild. I do not have any ride time yet but should soon, most of it is going to be really muddy though.

180 front and rear. I installed them at the same time as the new XT brakes so I can't really speak about the rotors on their own, but the combo is awesome.

Mine seem to work well with my SLX m666 calipers, run a bit cooler than the solid steel discs they replaced. They were lighter to, another small bonus.

I upgraded a little while ago from budget deore 445/505 levers with rt51 rotors, to XT 785 levers with icetech rotors.

I don't do a lot of runs where I would suffer from fade but havent had any trouble with noise on some of the longer decents.

The main advantage for me has been the huge gain in feel. They are simply awesome
