    Shimano Hydraulic cable guides SUCK!

Boy I tell ya...I did something recently I swore I would never do...convert to disc. I just got back in from my first ride on my beloved hardtail with a brand spankin new set of Formula K24's. My only real complaint (mind you the rotors have not bed in yet, so the ride had progressively better braking as time wore on), was my incessant cable rattling courtesy of the now loose, plastic, shimano cable guides in my brake stops. Man do those things suck...could NOT keep them tight for the life of me! Grrrr...I sure hope the alloy problem solvers and stick on jagwire guides I just ordered keep that cable from ringing me insane on my next ride! lol...

It's amazing what cable ties can fix.

Agreed...I could put on a velcro strap too...which if my guides dont come by the weekend, I am gonna do. But, I was hoping for a more OEM look...I will post up some pics of my finished cable routing when done.
