    Shimano G01A vs. F03C noise

I recently switched from the Shimano F03C sintered pads to the G01A resin pads. (I did do a thorough cleaning of the rotors.) The sintered pads were never especially noisy but I was expecting the resin pads to be much quieter. I have found that when braking lightly the resin pads are quieter, and perhaps a bit quieter when braking hard, but overall it wasn't the reduction in sound I would have expected.

    What are other people's experiences?

The only time I have noticed any difference in the sound is in wet conditions - resins appear to "moan" more, and the sintered "orc" like a seal. I actually run one sintered/one resin per caliper now during wet season as they make a lovely harmony together.
