I have the Deore BR-M595 hydros on my commuter bike which I used to ride 3 seasons a year. Now I am looking into riding during the winter too, and I am wondering if the sub-zero weather (in celcius) here in Toronto will take a toll on these brakes. I have read other peoples stories about Shimano brake failures during the winter, and deciding whether to have the Shimano hydros during the warmer months and either Hayes or Avid hydros during the colder months.
