    saint 8

    right now i have a shimano 475 mechancial disc right now and i was think if i could up grade it to the saint 8? Also how do i know weather my bike can fot 8in. rotors

    Whether or not a bike can "safely" accommodate an 8" disc is determined by the fork and hubs, so check with the manufacturer. Not all forks can handle the additional torque and there have been recalls on bikes that were originally sold with the larger discs. My Fisher Cake, with a Manitou Black Elite fork, happens to be one of them. Good luck. - Dave
