    Rotors, pads for Formula RX??

Looking to swap from a 160 to 185 rotor up front. Stick with the formula rotor or something aftermarket? They are costly But worth it. Brake Pads over standard formula???

    Decisions . . . Decisions

Get the Formula Rotors unless you have some unusual noise issue. There is no significant weight advantages and the Formula rotors are designed to work with their adaptors. the 185 will make a big difference in braking based upon my experiences with K24. I think this is likely true of all brakes not just Formula.
I don't have tremendous issues with Formula brake pads the sinistered Formula pads last a long time for me. I am an experienced mtn bike rider (25 years?) and I apparently brake a lot smarter than some of the rookies on line that I hear about. I also ride in a relatively dry environment which is probably more of a factor.
I haven't tried non-Formula pads because the F-pads have treated me so well.
    cheers,

    Kane
