Rotor for BB7 brakes: G2 or standard one..

I'm switching some BB7 brakes that I have on a new bike which has the BB5. The BB7 has the older rotors, while the new one the G2 cleansweep one. Are both the same performance, or should I keep one in special?

Not sure if you're referring to roundagons but they weren't the original design in any case; my first BBDBs came with Clean Sweeps (G1 I guess). I have G2 and G3 rotors, as well as roundagons now, too. Not a great deal of difference performance-wise that I can tell, though not a fan of the roundagons mostly for noise reasons, they work well enough (but have not run the roundagons a bunch either, have far more clean sweeps).

The cleansweeps are a step up in performance in my experience, so i would switch but either will work as long as your adapters are the same size.
