    Replacement Pads

    For Avid BB7's

    Dont have em mounted yet as i am still building my ride , Are there a dime a dozen of choises out there ?

    Tons of choices, they use the same pad as the juicys.

    Stock ones any good ? or are there much better choices with better stopping power for 160 mm discs.

    Stock should be organic, that's what I run, quieter then the other compounds but doesn't have as much bite. I'm a smaller guy so don't have problems with them, I enjoy the quiet.

    WOW, lots to chose from

    I defintly want quieter pads for sure even though those organics might not last as long as a hard pad . My current ride im running V- Brakes and i use to ride with a co-worker that has discs and every time he aplied the brakes it would squeal like mad.

    BB7's come stock with Sintered Metallic and have for many years.

    Really, my bad, thought for sure they came with organic. Sorry if I gave any bad info, but the organics are quieter.
