Question about installing new brake cables

So I'm still a noob to mountain biking. I wanted to install new jagwire brake cables to my bike. I have a shimano xt m785 brakes. I recall that when I trimmed the cables before I had to put in new ferrules and new olives. Anyways, I looked at the jagwire ripcord DIY brake kit, and noticed that it does come with ferrules but no olives. It has like these cylinder looking thing. I was wondering, is that cylinder thing used instead of the olives or do I have to buy extra olives?

You've got hydraulic brakes and are looking at mechanical brake housing. I believe Jagwire makes hydro kit's in colors, which I assume is why you went looking to them in the first place. I will tell you that the Shimano housing is superior to the Jagwire housing by a fair margin though.
