Promax Hydraulic Brakes
I have had a GF Cobia with Promax brakes for about 2 years now and have not been having any problems. I was just wondering if other riders who have the same brakes are satisfied with them?
Obviously I only ride my bike so I would not know if I am missing a really good brake like Avid or another manufacturer. The brakes do seem to work fine for my non aggressive type of riding.

As long as the brakes feel sufficiently powerful, I highly doubt you are going to gain anything from a "better" set of brakes. Furthermore, I've noticed that many higher end models require much more attention and maintenance than their lower end counterparts (Avid, I'm looking at you!).

I guess I am somewhat skeptical since they are not a big name brand and not being installed on any new bikes. I cannot say that I have had any problems or issues and the stopping power is very good.
Thanks for your reply!
