While in transport with the front tire off of my bike I depressed the brake lever and closed the brake pads. I gently pried them apart and got the front wheel reattached. But now the pads are rubbing on the the disk. Can anyone recommend a solution? This is my first bike with hydraulic disc brakes and I don't want to make the problem worse trying to fix it without knowing what the hell I'm doing. Thanks
Remove the wheel and pry the pads apart again making sure that they are fully seated back in the caliper. Reinstall the wheel then pump the brakes three or four times. You likely didn't get the pistons fully seated back in their bores before you reinstalled the last time. If that doesn't work we'll go from there.
