Post mount fork with IS caliper?

Hi, Manitou r7's are on the way and they use the post mount system to attach the brake caliper unlike my currnet IS equipped forks . I have a shimano IS caliper and a six inch rotor. Do i need an adaptor or spaces to properly attach the front brake to the new forks? any help appreciated, chris.

    Yes....

you will need an IS to Post mount adapter. There is no configuration of spacers of any type that would allow mounting of IS brakes to a post mount fork.

However, you'll likely have to go to a bigger rotor. There is no IS to Post adapter for the 160mm rotor for Shimano IS direct mount brakes.
