Post on fork to IS ?

    Hey all-

Picking up a fork w/post mount, and I think I need an adapter to use my 160mm brakes?

Can someone steer me in the right direction?

Not sure if this is enough info; let me know..

if your brake is caliper is IS only (with no IS to PM adapter), it is likely you will need to increase rotor size to at least 170mm or 180mm (180-185mm rotors are easier to find, only Shimano makes a 170 that I know of)

what brakes do you currently have?

    Cris-

I'm not sure which brakes i will use; testing a frame for size/fit along w/ this fork.

Most likely m535 or some crappy cable actuated till I see whether or not I like the frame.

Just looked at what I was going to cannabalize; the m535 is on a '08 float32 (post mount?) and the mechanicals are on the other type of mount w/an adapter that makes it look like the fox mount.
Sorry for the correct lack of terminology; I hope you understand

I do not have the new fork yet, so I cannot compare, although it seem to look like the fox. (manitou Nixon w/post mount is what I am trying to fit to the mentioned brakesets).
