    Polished: Just Because

    I swapped my 160mm rear rotor for a 140mm and didn't like the adapter. So, with a little oven cleaner and a lot of sanding and polishing...

    Did you clear coat it or are you going to do that a couple times a year?

    Neither. I went through a similar polishing process with the cranks on my 29er in December 2011, and they look much the same now as they did then. Worst case, the adapter's finish will end up somewhere between the polished caliper and the blasted Ti frame.
