Older style Avid mech vs. BB7

I am running the older Avid Mech's, and have been for 2 years. Would i notice any difference in upgrading to the BB7 or not?

If I'm not mistaken the bb7 is just the old 160mm disc relabeled. The new name is to differentiate it from their newer lower end mech disc, the bb5.

Yeah, it's the same. The new BB7 is same as the previously named BBDB model.
