is it ok to use Finish Line mineral oil?

    Hi...
After looking at some LBS I realized that the Finish Line mineral oil is cheaper as the LITTLE shimano bottle...So, I want to know if using the finish line mineral oil I`ll avoiding the warranty of my brakes or if it`s just the same stuff as the what shimano sells for a RIDICULOUS price..?

If there`s people with more than 6-9 months running finish line oil please feel free to share your experiences here...

    thanks!!

    bye

I've been using Finish line mineral oil for over a year with no problems on my Shimano Saints. I just had to re-bleed my '08 XT brakes because I had to cut the lines shorter, and I used the finish line Mineral Oil on those also.

Magura used to recommend Finishline 5wt when thier own stuff wasn't available in the US. Itīll work fine, but it will void the warrenttee...

ive been using it for 3 months, no problems and I sent back a caliper and got it replaced by shimano so I dont think its a warranty issue for them

Why did you send it back to shimano?...oil-seal issues?
