Cool-blue Rhythm Nubee, needs help selecting a brake set...

I am upgrading my mechanical discs to hydros. I am between the Avids Juicy 7 and the Hayes El Camino. I have read a few reviews and they all seem to point to the Avids, though they also say the Hayes are very good. My main use will be trail riding, nothing extreme, though I would like to have something that will perform decent in case I ever do... What do you guys think? Which set do you like better and what is your experience with either one...

Thanks!!!

Do not get El Camino`s. They are crap. You need to adjust them during every ride. They fade quickly and they squeel alot. I had them on my Down Hill bike then on my XC bike...they sucked on both. I had better luck with Hayes mechs than with the El Crappos.

The Elcos are that bad huh... OK, I'll stick with Avid then...

Any preferences between the Avids? Ultimates, Carbons, or 7s...?
Basically are the higher prices of the Ultimates and Carbons worth it compared to the 7s?

Thanks again!!!
