    No Brakes!

    This weekend, I raced in some horrible conditions, with thick mud over the entire course. From a half a mile into the race, as long as you were moving, you'd hear a horrible grinding sound. Pretty quick, my lever disappeared, and my breaks were non existent. Here's the results/culprits:

    Down to the baking plate eh? Are those resin pads? Shimano seems to like resin pads.

    Nope, they are the metal ones (at least that's what it says on the backing) Both front and back looked the same.

    Here's the rear pads off my P2P rig...the front weren't much better!

    if you want some good brake pads at a good price, look into extreme jagwire pads...when i had avid elixier r's brakes i got those...good pads and power.
