    Nickel or Dime...

Its kind of a dumb question, but i cant remember so here goes. Do disc pads need to be replaced when they are at nickel or dime width??

Even better question. What's a nickel or a dime?

I spent a week in SF, and still don't know what the darn difference is!

Got a quarter (25c) 4 cents (1c) and 3 dimes (how the heck do I know what a dime is worth, it's a tiny little coin and has no denominational value on it c) and no nickels (insert long dialogue on why US cash money has little logic attatched to it with notes all the same size and colour coins changing sizes out of relation with their face value when the face value is mentioned and is confusing as heck to the rest of the planet!)

Just my nickel, or is it a dime?

Schtoo, in Japan via Australia (both with easily identifiable currencies!)
