    newb question, need some help

    well I got a new fork and when looking to hook up my front brakes I noticed that the rotor runs really close to my fork, Im kinda lost on what to do. Thanks for any help.

    does it rub on the fork? if not i am lost on what the issue is here.

    If it's able to slide between the two brake pads then it's probably fine.

    That looks like a centrelock rotor, are you sure that it is mounted on the hub correctly? Check rotation markers on the disc surface. It seems very far out from the hub body.

    Agree with DGB....

    double check your installation. It looks to me like you've got the rotor reversed. There should be a rotation direction arrow imprinted on the rotor. That's the only thing I can think of that might be the issue. If not I'm at a loss as well.

    Rotation appears correctsecond picture you can see the arms pointing in the direction of rotation....

    It is too close for a standard caliper to work....

    recheck all the fit ups...

    At the time I didn't have my new hydraulic brakes and on my old fork didn't come as close, I just want to make sure I didn't need a adapter and now the bolt up fine, its a centerlock rotor and its mounted from the factory. anyways all is well! thanks everyone
