    newb question

i have avid juicy 7 from 2007 on my banshee scirocco, and in the last 20 miles ive ridden it there has been loud squeaky vibrations in the front and rear brakes. i know they all do it sometimes but it has gotten to a new level. is there anything i can do for this problem?

Clean the rotors with alcohol, lightly sand the pads and align the calipers. If that doesn't do it, try organic pads.

If all else fails, read all of this.

I don't know where gmcttr's link was supposed to take you, as it didn't work for me. I'd read the Disc Brake FAQ in the upper right corner of this page, great info for a newb...

The link was an MTBR search for "noisy avid brakes". I should have known better.
