    New SRAM XX Calipers?

No sure if this is old news, but Sram had been prototype testing these new XX calipers on the world cup circuit earlier this year...

Has there been any news on these or when they plan to release them? They don't seem to have made the change to these for 2013.

I had my XX WC brakes warranty replaced for 2012s and I'm still not happy with them.

Maybe these new calipers will cure all the XX brake woes?

No one cares, SRAM/Avid has shot themselves in both feet with their most recent incarnation of brakes. Who in hell would even bother to waste their time and money buying Avid brakes, especially the XX WC ones. As you said, you had to get yours warrantied, as have pretty much everyone else who owns them, the little bit less weight the save is not worth it, go for XTR and be happy and trouble free.
One day your life will flash before your eyes, will it be worth watching??

Yes, those do look like the same caliper design.

I put my hands on those this weekend at the final USGP, they had better lever feel than most of the Avid brakes. Johnson wasn't gobbling around the course either.
