Just got a new bike yesterday. It comes with the Shimano BR-M495 Disk Brakes.
This is my first time using disc brakes, so this question might be due to lack of experience.
I noticed that the front brake doesn't brake as good as the rear one. And comparing with a regular V-Brake it takes more force in the lever to get the same braking power.
Besides that, if I test the brake not riding the bike, like pushing the bike forth from the handlebars while applying the front brake and releasing it, once in a while the brake doesn't open when I release the lever. When that happens I push the bike forth from the handlebars without applying the brakes, and it opens making weird noise.
Is that normal?
