New pads in elixr 3: no lever travel

Put some jew pads front and rear. Once the pistons were pushed back in there is hardly any lever travel. I remember there being a a bit of free play, that felt nice in the begining of the travel. It feels like my hayes nines did with to much fluid in them. Brakes stop fine, just have a numb feeling they didnt have before.

    Any tips?

Try re-centering the caliper. That sometimes gives more space between the pads and rotors. Adjust the pads in if those have that capability. To re-center Avids.....Loosen caliper bolts, Squeeze lever tight, and while holding the lever in, re-tighten caliper bolts. Then release lever. Should put them where they need to be.

Thanks. I did recenter the calipers when I changes the pads. Everything works fine, it just feels like I need to release some fluid.

However I will check to make sure the pistons are equal.
