Need your V-brake expertise: 26in wheel in 24in frame

I've got a mountain bike frame for 24 inch wheels.
    It only has V-brake studs.
A 26 inch wheel with a 2.0 tire fits in the rear with enough clearance.
The question is, Is there a V-brake with enough adjustability to make a 26 inch rear wheel work?
    If you can't play, display.

Make a new brace, then it'll work.

A V-brake Plate might be an option.

Evolution Bike Company makes the following mounts.
